| Okay a few years ago I said I would never Cloth Diaper. But something in me changed and I thought I would give it a try with this baby. Now I am hooked!!! I don't want to use disposibles anymore. But I need more diapers because I don't have to many and run out before the end of the day. But seriously...I can't believe I changed my mind of this.My favorites are Fuzzibunz and Bumgenius... :)Also once my mom goes back to the states I want to start Daniel in them. Maybe it will help him potty train? |

| I started reading this book called "Your Girl" by Vicki Courtney. I am going through the book with the PWOC. Nope, no girls of my own but I didn't like the other choices and they said it would be a good study for moms of boys too. I think it will be very interesting. I read the first 4 chapters and it is a lot more conservative than I am. I think being a SAHM is a wonderful thing, I mean that is what I am and I love my job. But I don't think a women is any less of a Christian by not choosing that path. At the same time I hate that the SAHM can be devalued in our society. This author seemed really angry about things though and that was kinda weird. I guess I see myself as a Christian first but also a pro-life feminist in the sense that 1) I believe abortion is wrong 2) I believe women should be able to do whatever they think is best for them and their family. 3) I believe in mutual submission within a marriage. Anyway, just my thoughts... |

We are 4.5 months into this deployment. It seems like a lot in some ways but not so much in others. Having kinda a sad day today. Trying to stay busy. This morning I took Daniel to playgroup. We hadn't been in forever. I took Drew too of course. Then I had a meeting I just too Drew too. My mom is still here so she watched Daniel for me. I think I want to get more involved with my FRG but not sure in what way yet. We will see. It's Jan and doesn't seem like it as it is warmer than normal. It's nice though. I am just sick of the rain. |
